What is EVE Car?
At it’s heart, EVE Car is an easy off-ramp from a whole consumer paradigm deeply embedded in our culture: “We use our capital to buy an internal combustion engine car. That car sits and depreciates most of the time, and when we take it out to use it, we need to keep putting more money in it in the form of gasoline.” And in exchange we have “Freedom.” (cue the inspiring music accompanying cinematic images of a shiny SUV carving the corners of an ocean-side road.)
What’s wrong with this paradigm? It’s not the most efficient use of your capital - because the car sits idle so much of the time. It’s not the most efficient use of the planet’s resources - because combustion engines are an old technology that was conceived before we knew that tail-pipe emissions were a source of climate change.
EVE-Car gives you the freedom, without the waste. The cars are environmentally clean. Your capital stays with you - to invest in assets that grow, rather than decline in value over time.
And from the cash-flow standpoint - you have a much more predictable expense line - one that is less sensitive to the number of miles you drive, the repairs your car requires or the popularity of your vehicle model in the used market.
